was just incredible, bit of pre race nerves but I set off on my own and went for it, bumped into Liz Bundy briefly just before mile 4 (but I needed a loo stop) The crowd was amazing and so were other participants.. I started to struggle a little just before mile 18 but that was the perfect moment to see my kids & their partners on course 😍 gave me a little boost.. Then seen my mum & sister too 💜 I just kept pushing through the pain 😢 Managed to catch up with a chap that was running for GOSH with a washing machine on his back and gave him a donation, and chatted to some spectators too 😇 Just soaked up every moment.. And then I got talking to a young chap called Jordan, and we really kept each other going to the end, along with the 6:15 pacer.. He was so lovely, and we just kept pushing each other on and before you knew it the miles were coming down and we went for it together on the last 600m, I was still pinching myself at that point that I was actually finishing the Marathon!! London Marathon completed it mate ✅️ Thank you all for your lovely messages and all your donations, its really kept me going.. I've nearly reached £5,000 which is absolutely amazing!!!
